High School Awards
Triple "C" Awards
The New York State Attorney General instituted the Triple "C" Awards to encourage young people to fulfill their potential. These awards recognize the "Character, Courage, and Commitment" of New York’s hard working students.

NYS Comptroller’s Award
This award recognizes a student who has shown academic excellence and potential for leadership through involvement in activities that improve the community.
Recipient: Michael Cocca
Student Sage Recognition Award
This award was created to recognize the characteristics of academic excellence, student leadership and community involvement that have defined Russell Sage women for nearly a century. The nominee embodies the Russell Sage motto of “To Be, To Know, To Do” through her achievements and other involvements. It is awarded to a junior girl and can include a scholarship to Russell Sage ranging from $7,000-$16,000 should the recipient choose to enroll.

The Rensselaer Medal Award
This award goes to one member of the junior class who demonstrates potential for success at Rensselaer, excels in Math and Science, and exhibits well-rounded interest an involvement in extra-curricular activities. If the recipient of this award is accepted at RPI, he or she will receive a special scholarship valued at $60,000 paid in $15,000 per year increments.

Bausch & Lomb Science Award and Scholarship
This award is given to a student in grade 11 who excels in Math and Science. Winners of this Award are automatically considered for a Scholarship totaling $30,000 or $7,500 per year for four years at the University of Rochester.

Society of Women Engineers Certificate of Merit
This certificate is awarded to two female students completing Grade 11. This award is based on their achievements in Math and Science, their character, and an expressed interest in pursuing a career in Math, Science, or Engineering.

The Wells College 21st Century Leadership Award
This award recognizes the outstanding contributions the recipient has made as a student and a leader. Through school and community activities, the recipient of this award demonstrates superior integrity, trustworthiness, self-confidence, and intellect.

NYS Lottery: Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship
One eligible graduating senior is awarded a $5,000, four-year scholarship paid in four annual increments. This award recognizes seniors with experience in extracurricular activities and community service and who have also demonstrated leadership in their school community.
