Petitions available for one open board seat

Petitions are available for one board seat that will be up for election on the Green Island School Board on May 18, the day of the annual school budget vote.

Anyone wishing to run for the board can obtain a petition:

View and print a copy of the petition (PDF document). View and print legal notice (PDF document).
Pick up petition at the main office (171 Hudson Avenue) during school hours.

Petitions are due no later than 5 p.m. on April 15, 2010. Candidates must collect 25 signatures to appear on the ballot. For more information, please call Angela Legault in the main office at 273-1422, ext. 2003.
