Pennies for Patients
Thank you to all who contributed to make the Pennies for Patients a great success! We did GREAT! The extremely generous support from students, faculty and staff raised $520.12. All of the money was donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Junior Class put containers in all of the elementary classrooms and explained to them what we were collecting the money for. They were very interested in the reason for donating the money. The class that raised the most money received a pizza party during one of their lunch periods. Congratulations to the first grade class that raised the most money and they had a wonderful time at their pizza party!
Green Island’s Relay for Life, 2007
