Heatly's Got Talent! School wide Talent Show - Thursday, May 29th at 7PM
Heatly's Day at NYSSMA - Saturday, May 31st at Guilderland HS
(soloist sing a prepared piece for a grade which they can use to get into All-County ensembles and Colonial Council Choirs)

Elementary Chorus sings National Anthem at River Rats Game

Heatly Elementary Chorus took to the ice at the March 19 Albany River Rats game. It was a great time and the kids sang a great rendition of the National Anthem to the crowd! They also go to enjoy some great hockey action as the River Rats downed the Hershey Bears.

Elementary Chorus Singing National Anthem at Rivers Rats Game

The Elementary Chorus will be singing the National Anthem on the ice at the March 19 Albany River Rats Hockey Game. Tickets can be purchased at discounted rates by filling out the slip on the bottom of the poster and sending it in (with payment) to school by February 29th! Tickets will be for a special "Heatly Section" of the Times Union Center.

Green Island Children’s Chorus performs at Colonie Center

Students from Heatly’s Green Island Children’s Chorus performed at Colonie Center on Saturday, December 15. Songs were sung accompanied by Miss Dzembo playing the Electronic Keyboard. They performed 5 holiday songs for a large crowd of family, friends and shoppers. Beautiful job! The group’s participation is in cooperation with Colonie Center’s $chool Bucks Program, which our PTO is registered.

Elementary Holiday Concerts

Save the date and make sure you don’t miss out on this year’s Elementary Holiday Concerts – a must see each holiday season! The High School Arts students have been working on backdrops for each song that will be projected on a screen by Mrs. Goss our Media Arts Specialist. In addition, students and faculty will be providing some extra instrumental accompaniment for certain pieces. Don’t forget to purchased your Holiday Raffle tickets sponsored by the PTO to win some wonderful Holiday prizes!

The show will be divided into two different segments:

Grades K – 2 Thursday, December 13, 7 pm in the gym
Grades 3 – 6 Thursday, December 20, 7 pm in the gym

Green Island Children’s Chorus to perform at Colonie Center – December 15, 2007

Students in the Green Island Children’s Chorus (consisting of students in grades 3 – 6) will be performing a Holiday Ensemble on Saturday, December 15 at 1 pm at Colonie Center, outside of Boscov’s. They have been practicing two times a week after school. Please mark your calendars and stop by to hear them singing!
