Hannaford Helps Schools Program

How does it work?
First make sure your school is registered in the program at your local Hannaford store. You will receive information telling you the names of our food vendor partners who participate in this program. When you purchase four (4) participating products, you receive one $3.00 school dollar certificate at the checkout register. If your purchase eight (8) participating products you will receive one $6.00 school dollar certificate and so on. You can either turn over these dollar certificates to your local school or donate them in-store, to the school of your choice
School Dollars
At the end of the 13-week program, schools turn in school dollars to the store with which they are registered. In March of 2007, the school will receive a check for the total amount of school dollars collected during the program. In addition to the funds raised by individual schools, each Hannaford Supermarket will award a $1,000 education grant to the registered school that raises the most dollars.

Box Tops for Educators

How it works:
The original Box Tops program keeps getting better! As always, you can find the familiar 10¢ Box Tops coupon on hundreds of your family's favorite products from General Mills. And now, you can find Box Tops on Ziploc® and Kleenex® products, too! Now you can find Box Tops in more grocery aisles than ever before.
Earn cash for your school through everyday activities: buying groceries, shopping online and making purchases with a credit card. All at no additional cost to you! Clip Box Tops from hundreds of participating brands . Earn up to 8% back for your school when you shop online and 1% every time you use your credit card . With your help and the dedication of your school's volunteer Box Tops Coordinator , your school can earn up to $60,000 through Box Tops each year. That's as much as $20,000 each from clipping Box Tops, shopping at the Box Tops Marketplace and using the Box Tops Visa® card.
Tyson Project A+
Redemption Labels
We are taking part in a national fundraising program sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc. called Tyson Project A+(TM). Through this program, we can raise as much as $12,000 for our school this year! The money we raise can go towards buying books or computers, making improvements to our buildings, or anything else that we want. All we have to do to participate is clip and save the entire Project A+(TM) label from participating Tyson products. Each label we collect is worth 24¢ for our school. A collection site has been set up at the school where you can drop off your redemption labels.
Junior Achievement

Volunteer your time to Junior Achievement:
Junior Achievement uses hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. In partnership with business and educators, Junior Achievement brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential.
There are a number of ways to get involved with Junior Achievement: You can volunteer in a classroom or for a special event, make a donation or pledge, or come work for us on staff. Since 1953, our programs have brought relevance to those dreams by providing the tools kids need to make their dreams come true.
For FIFTY-THREE YEARS in Northeastern New York kids with dreams have learned to understand and respect the free enterprise system through their JA participation. Most importantly, they have developed the skills and knowledge to be successful.
