Heatly students receive awards at Career & Tech ceremony

A handful of Green Island students were honored at the Capital Region BOCES Career & Technical Annual Awards Ceremony on June 8.

Congratulations to senior Lucia Catellier, who received a Growth in Achievement award for her accomplishments as a Cosmetology student, and senior Kayla Charles, who received an Academic Achievement award in Gaming, MultiMedia & Web Design.

Earning Career & Tech School Participation awards were: senior Anthony Bryant and junior Jeremy Wilson for Automotive Trades Technology, senior Brian Darmeko for Criminal Justice, senior Kathleen Scott for Early Childhood Education, and sophomore Don Butler for Gaming, MultiMedia & Web Design.
