Congratulations to the Heatly Class of 2010
On June 25, Heatly School recognized 27 graduates at the 2010 commencement.
The honor students were Molly Maloney (95.86 GPA), JR Gleason (95.38 GPA), Cassandra Scott (94.88 GPA), Zachary Miller (93.41 GPA), Erica Gross (93.41 GPA), Ashley Gross (92.86 GPA) and Peter Heffern (88.75 GPA).
The guest speaker was Daniel Mattoon, who wore a foil hat that he used while teaching some lessons. He began his career at Heatly and now teaches at Niskayuna High School.
Assemblyman Ronald Canestari (and co-sponsored by Senator Neil Breslin) and Congressman Paul Tonko presented Superintendent John McKinney with commendations from their respective bodies, the state Legislature and House of Representatives, for his 41 years at Heatly. McKinney will retire on June 30, 2010.
