Congratulations October Students of the Month
Eighth-grader Alexis Bull and senior David Gagne have been named Students of the Month for October.
Alexis Bull
(Grade 8)
Mrs. Hughes and Ms. VanValkenburgh nominated Alexis as student of the
month because of her great work in eighth grade. Mrs. Hughes commented
on Alexis’ work in English, "Alexis' efforts in class demonstrate her
commitment to learn," she said. "She does a great job supporting her
ideas and respectfully listening to her peers. She is kind to others and
always has a smile."
Ms. VanValkenburgh feels that in math, Alexis
is a “focused learner” and kind to her classmates. Both teachers are
proud to recognize Alexis for her efforts.
David Gagne (Grade 12)
David Gagne has been doing an excellent job in Law for Business and
Personal Use. Mrs. Michaels stated that David is knowledgeable about
current legal issues and brings that knowledge to class discussions. He
showed good effort on a recent project about the Supreme Court and his
presentation showed creativity and an excellent knowledge about the
topic.
