State changes dates for grades 3-8 math and ELA assessments in April 2012
The New York State Education Department has changed the dates in April 2012 for administering grades 3-8 English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics exams.
The new dates are as follows:
Grades 3-8 English Language Arts (ELA) exams: Tuesday, April 17-Thursday, April 19, 2012. (Make-ups April 20-24)
Grades 3-8 mathematics exams: Wednesday, April 25-Friday, April 27, 2012. (Make-ups April 30-May 2)
It is anticipated that dates for exams
administered in June may also change; updated information will be posted
as soon as it's available.
