Sixth-graders use research, organizational and communication skills in celebrity learning activity
On Tuesday, Jan. 10, sixth-graders came as the celebrities they researched for the past month to talk about their lives and share their poster and PowerPoint creations. Many faculty and parents joined in the breakfast to learn more about celebrities like Taylor Swift, Martin Luther King, Alex Rodriguez, Muhammad Ali, Bill Gates and many more.
Donna Eager, library media specialist, led the learning activity in which she gave students the opportunity to choose and research a celebrity based on their own interest. Students then organized their research for presentation.
"Thank you to all the participants for making this a wonderful learning experience," said Mrs. Eager.
