Welcome new school psychologist, Kara Maccio
Green Island Union Free School District is
pleased to welcome Kara Maccio as Heatly's new school
psychologist. She
replaces Morgan Myatt.
Miss Maccio most recently served as school psychologist for the Northville Central School District, which is also a K-12 district in one building.
She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from St. Michael's College in Vermont, her master's degree in educational psychology and certificate of advanced graduate study in school psychology from the College of Saint Rose.
Miss Maccio is from Troy and currently resides in Albany.
"Everyone at Heatly has been very welcoming," said Maccio. "I am looking forward to getting to know the students and their families in the district."
