Elijah Legault, Grade 7
Elijah Legault has been chosen as April Student of the Month for grades 7-9 after being nominated by six of his teachers. In their nominations, his teachers commented about Elijah’s positive attitude toward school and his maturity in the classroom.
Mrs. Desnoyers, Ms. VanValkenburgh and Mrs. Pelletier all remarked that Elijah is a great student, polite and friendly to adults and classmates alike, and is a hard worker. He is an honor roll student who completes his work with enthusiasm and a genuine interest in learning.
Mrs. Camacho summed it up when she said, “He is a pleasure to have in class, always smiling and eager to learn.”
Both Ms. Tucci and Mr. Manning noted that he is enthusiastic about all he is learning and seems to honestly enjoy being a student.
Angelica DeCianni, Grade 12
Angelica DeCianni has been chosen as April Student of the Month for grades 10-12.
At a time when “senioritis” has kicked in for many 12th graders, Angelica continues to work hard and is diligent about her work.
When nominating Angelica, both Mrs. Lanchantin and Mrs. Michaels noted that Angelica asks questions when she doesn't understand something, and truly wants to learn the material.
Ms. Tucci and Mr. Manning commented that Angelica is a hard worker and has done well in French and Economics. She recently completed a presentation on Haiti for French class that showed extra time and effort; in Economics her current average is 99 percent.
Angelica is a conscientious student who wants to succeed. Her mature attitude and positive nature make her a pleasure to have in class.
Congratulations
Elijah and Angelica!
