Traffic Safety Concerns

In an attempt to make our imperfect school traffic situation run smoother for everyone and create a safer school crossing for ALL our children the Village of Green Island, Heatly School and the Heatly Elementary PTO have joined together to compile a list of safety rules to be implemented by Drivers/Parents/Guardians and enforced by Village Law Enforcement. We ask for everyone's cooperation in abiding by these rules and reporting anyone in violation of these rules in order to keep our children safe. Warnings and tickets will be given to anyone reported in violation of these Village school rules/laws. Please click here to view and print entire form (PDF).

Colonie Center’s $chool Buck$ Program

$chool Buck$ Program at Colonie Center—If you, your family or friends shop, see a movie or eat at Colonie Center now through June 2011 you can support the Elementary PTO. Before you leave, stop by the Customer Service desk located on the 1st floor. Let them know you’d like to register your receipts for Heatly School or Green Island Elementary School (we’re listed under both names). They will give you a sheet to fill in your name, the date and your total spending amount from each store. They will stamp your receipts to show they have been logged for your school. Don’t forget to stop by Customer Service every time you shop!! Heatly is in the running for cash prizes. There are additional bonuses for our school as well! Please help out and support the students of Heatly. If you have any questions, please contact any member of the Elementary PTO. Find out more information about this program (PDF document).

Labels for Education

For more than 37 years, Labels for Education has been awarding free educational equipment to schools in exchange for proofs of purchase from the Campbell family of brands. It’s a fun, easy program where students, families and members of the community work together for a common goal. Please support Heatly Elementary in this great program. Download PDF for additional information.

eLabels for Education

A new program available to Chopper Shoppers is offered through The Campbell Soup Company. Price Chopper is one of four retailers in the U.S. offering a new, exciting version of Campbell’s Labels for Education program.

After you, your family and friends register your AdvantEdge Card on elabelsforeducation.com, you receive 100 bonus points for Heatly School. Points accrue automatically for the purchase of certain brands. This program is similar to Labels for Education but without the clipping. Please note: when searching for Heatly School, you may need to put “Troy” in the City field instead of Green Island. Find out more about this program.

Sunny D Book spree

Help Heatly Elementary earn books for our school by sending in Sunny D Labels. Find out more.

Price Chopper’s Tools for Schools Program

Not already registered? It’s simple. Go to Tools for Schools website, & register your Advantage Card with Heatly’s code number: 15887 Over the course of the past several years, Heatly has been fortunate to receive about 3 PCs, a wealth of supplies, and a digital camera (or camcorder).

Hannaford Helps Schools

When you purchase four (4) participating products, you receive one $3.00 school dollar certificate at the checkout register. If your purchase eight (8) participating products you will receive one $6.00 school dollar certificate and so on. You can either turn over these dollar certificates to your local school or donate them in-store, to the school of your choice. At the end of the 13-week program, schools turn in school dollars to the store with which they are registered. The school will receive a check for the total amount of school dollars collected during the program. In addition to the funds raised by individual schools, each Hannaford Supermarket will award a $1,000 education grant to the registered school that raises the most dollars.

Box Tops for Education

On a multitude of products from the market, there are the Box Tops for Education logos. Please cut those out, and send them in to school. We receive $.10 for each one—and they add up!
