Fundraisers
Normally the funds raised by the Spanish Club are directed toward travel or cultural activities. In the past we have used the funds to donate to activities such as the Drama Club, the yearbook, Excellence in Spanish graduates, to pay for students who want to take Spanish 4 or 5 (University in the High School- 4 credits)and cannot afford it, brick buy, and any other donations for school purposes.
The Spanish Club usually coordinates Teacher Luncheons. This year we are also planning to recycle cans. Other fun-raising activities may be approved by the Superintendent of Schools.
Community Service Projects
We are involved with “Christmas Angels” with the Salvation Army of Troy. We are also donating used clothes and different items to Unity House in Troy.
