Counseling Department

The school counselor works to maximize student success while promoting access and equity for all students. The school counselor also works with the administration to design and deliver school counseling programs that improve student outcomes by connecting the program to the district's mission statement: "Every child will graduate prepared for college, career and citizenship."

Our school counselor helps all students apply academic achievement strategies and suggests ways to manage emotions and improve interpersonal skills. The counselor also helps all students plan for post-secondary options (higher education, military or workforce).
