Save the Date: July Public Forum - Code of Conduct

Dear Heatly Families,

Please join us on Thursday, July 7th at 5PM for a public forum for parents and students to provide feedback on Heatly’s Code of Conduct. Internal stakeholders have dedicated countless hours since March to updating the current code to reflect the values that were identified in our survey. We highly value input from our students, parents, stakeholders and community members in this review process. This collaborative effort will gather ideas and information from various points of view and be taken into consideration in drafting an updated Code of Conduct for Heatly.

A draft of the updated Code of Conduct will be made available to stakeholders prior to the July 7th forum. (Tentative date of July 5th or 6th)

After the meeting, the first draft of the updated Code of Conduct will be reviewed and relevant revisions will be made. On August 4th, a second public forum will be held and the Board of Education will have 30 days to adopt the updated code.

We look forward to working with our students, their parents, our stakeholders and community members in establishing a Code of Conduct that will set the standards for our district and create a productive and safe learning environment.

Sincerely,

Kimberly Ross
Superintendent
