First day of school updates from Superintendent Ross
Sept. 14, 2020
Dear Heatly families,
I was so excited to see our students in-person and virtually today! Thank you so much for all your work in making it a great first day for all of our students. I wanted to share some important updates with you:
Information for PreK-12 students
All students in grades K-12 should fill out the daily health screening each morning by 7:30 a.m. We are requesting that all fully remote and hybrid learners also complete the screening every morning. This will help us report our COVID-19 information to the state each day.
Included in your welcome back to school packet were demographic sheets from SchoolTool with your contact information. Please review this information and return the sheets to the main office as soon as possible so we can ensure your contact information is up to date.
Information for full remote learners (all classes online)
If you are keeping your children home for full remote learning, please return the commitment letters to the main office as soon as possible.
The district has launched a virtual learning website as a resource for our families. I encourage you to review the site if your child is a virtual learner.
If your child is a fully remote learner in need of breakfast and lunch, please fill out this formby Monday, Sept. 21 and we will work on coordinating food delivery to your house.
I cannot thank everyone enough for your continued partnership as we navigate the start of the school year.
