District to hold full remote learning day on Friday, Dec. 18

Dec. 17, 2020

Dear Heatly families,

I hope you are enjoying your snow day and are able to dig out! I know a lot more snow fell than what was expected in some areas. Hopefully you were able to relax and enjoy the fresh snowfall.

Due to the amount of snow, and to allow the village of Green Island and our buildings and grounds department to clear the roads and sidewalks, we will hold a full remote learning day tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 18. Students are required to login at the normal time and follow their daily schedule. Attendance will be taken for all classes.

K-2 students are expected to login at 7:45 a.m. Students in grades 3-12 are expected to login at 8 a.m. Pre-K students are expected to login at 8:30 a.m.

As a reminder, all families should complete the daily COVID attestation tomorrow morning.

In the event you are in need of a meal from the school tomorrow, please call Mrs. Legault at (518) 273-1422 ext. 9 by 7 p.m. this evening to be on the delivery list for tomorrow. We anticipate that deliveries will arrive in the early afternoon tomorrow. There may be delays depending on the number of deliveries and the road/sidewalk conditions.

We anticipate that we will resume in-person instruction on Monday, Dec. 21.

Please reach out if you have any questions. We are in this together!

Sincerely,

Kimberly Ross
Superintendent of Schools
