District to transition to remote learning Jan. 13-15

Dear Heatly families,
Apologies for this email coming so late in the day. We were just notified of a changing circumstance that will impact school operations.
Due to several variables, including health, safety and staffing issues, the district (grades Pre-K-12) will need to go fully remote Jan. 13-15. Students are expected to login at the normal instructional time and follow their daily schedule. Attendance will be taken for all classes.
I recognize that this decision may present a challenge for our families. It continues to be my primary goal to provide in-person instruction for all students whenever possible. We anticipate that we will resume in-person instruction on Tuesday, Jan. 19. If there are any changes, you will be notified by the end of the three-day weekend. Thank you for understanding this very difficult decision as we continue to navigate through these challenging times.
Students are required to login at the normal time and follow their daily schedule. Attendance will need to be taken for all classes.
K-2 students are expected to login at 7:45 a.m. Students in grades 3-12 are expected to login at 8 a.m. Pre-K students are expected to login at 8:30 a.m.
As a reminder, all families should complete the daily COVID attestation each morning.
In the event you are in need of meals from the school this week, please fill out this form by 10 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, Jan. 13) to be added to the delivery list. Deliveries will be distributed on Thursday.
