On Sept. 7, 2020, Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a law that requires public employers, including public school districts, to adopt a continuity of operations plan that would be put into place in the event that the governor declares a public health emergency involving communicable disease.

The Green Island UFSD plan was approved by the Board of Education at a special meeting on Thursday, March 18.
