Green Island UFSD wants to ensure every student can start the day feeling confident and ready to learn. Our former grades 9-12 students envisioned a judgment free place to get what they need, and our Community Closet now stands as a daily reminder of Heatly’s commitment to care, connection, and belonging.
Heatly’s Community Closet has quickly grown into a fully stocked space. Clothing is now sorted by gender and size, with multiple shelves for footwear, a cabinet of hygiene essentials, and many options for school supplies. The Community Closet launched less than a year ago with a single rack of clothing. Donations from the Heatly community have made the growth of the closet possible.

How can I use the Community Closet?
During school hours, students at Green Island UFSD can ask a teacher or the Main Office to access the Community Closet. All items in the closet are free for all students.
