Survival of the fittest: Students try natural selection

During Living Environment, 10th grade students went outside to discover how natural selection works.

They pretended to be predatory birds and captured “Wooly Worms”. Students discovered that the green wooly worms had the best chance of survival because they were camouflaged into the environment. This is an adaptation for helping them achieve “survival of the fittest”.
